Another very early Tourer to add to this list, another prototype one with SPL VIN...
Got the pics and information from Facebook some time ago, sorted out the VIN and reg date myself...
It was a diesel.

It was part of a Rover display at Woodford airshow near Manchester in June 2000 I think. A salesman told me it was a prototype they were using to judge interest, and if there was enough interest, they would put it into production. Although I liked the 75 when it first came out, seeing that 75 tourer in Old English White made me decide that I wanted one one day if it went into production. Some 9 years later, the time was right to get one, but it had to be white like the first one I saw. That's when I found out how rare white ones are.
