Hi Francesco,

The evidence suggests nothing more than an intermittent battery disconnection. This could either be at the battery clamps or at the body attachment of the negative terminal cable.

Caution: If you have sat. nav. wait for the red LED on the disc drive to extinguish before disconnecting battery terminals.

Initially, I'd suggest loosening the battery clamps, lifting them off and cleaning the posts. Check the expansion gap in the clamps and if it is almost closed, open it carefully using the blade of a stout screwdriver. Refit the positive clamp first gently knocking it home onto the tapered battery post (this is the operation which, if ignored, results in a loose and unreliable fitting). Now tighten the clamp nut and bolt just enough to prevent rotation by hand. Do not over-tighten; there's no load on the clamp! Repeat for the negative side.

Hopefully that will solve your problem.
