This morning we had a visitor to our upstairs veranda, a long thin tree snake which has now gone behind the ceiling board. It looked similar to a juvenile Boomslang but a snake expert did the ID: a spotted bush tree snake, I sent him a photo.... We don’t mind them as they eat the mice, but a Boomslang is one of Africa’s most venomous snakes, those ones we don’t like.
After that we went for a swim in the creek. |

Talking of swimming there's no respite in this steady rain & the garage floor already resembles a swimming pool again
The water table is so high it has nowhere to go.
