On reflection I would have rather my late cat had passed away peacefully in his sleep. Having to say the words
put to sleep to the vet was utterly heartbreaking, but compassion was the only option. I noted the time that she injected him, and seven minutes later when I said
is that it?
I mark those exact times on every anniversary of his passing. and will every year until the day that we are together again.
