Thank you Steve, by coincidence, I saw an eagle playing with a snake yesterday in the meadow, the mongooses do come at night on the hunt and they are welcomed.

Thank you Richard, it is very sad when we lose a pet, a good friend. Gin was 15. I am sorry you have been through it twice.

At the end sometimes there is no other way than to seek the help of the vet. We have a pet cemetery for the animals who have passed on. They are never far away. I am sorry you have been through it, how very sad. I have always considered it to be a privilege to be with them at the end to help them through the final journey.
