Thank you Rod and Angela, we certainly gave her limitless supplies of love and attention. All the dogs here get the run of our small holding, the forest and meadows.

Thank you Steve, by coincidence, I saw an eagle playing with a snake yesterday in the meadow, the mongooses do come at night on the hunt and they are welcomed.

Thank you Richard, it is very sad when we lose a pet, a good friend. Gin was 15. I am sorry you have been through it twice.

Gin will have gone over the Rainbow Bridge having known love and warmth from her human companians.
Thank you Jeff and Ros for those kind thoughts.

Like has already been said, I've been there several times myself.
It's crushing to loose a four legged friend.
At the end sometimes there is no other way than to seek the help of the vet. We have a pet cemetery for the animals who have passed on. They are never far away. I am sorry you have been through it, how very sad. I have always considered it to be a privilege to be with them at the end to help them through the final journey.

Comforting words and thoughts, how very kind.
