I have used Waxoyl for years. Redo mine every six months. Not that it needs doing, but usually have a good check to see if everything is ok. When I first used it I took their claims about coated and Uncoated metal to heart, and did the same with two pieces of metal. Coated the one, and left the other half bare. Stuck them at the bottom of the garden and I forgot all about them until I was clearing up the garden. I wondered how the two pieces of metal came to be there six years later, then remembered what they were. The one was very badly rusted. The other was dirty, but when I wiped the dirt off, there was no rust whatsoever. That’s my own reason for using waxoyl. I know it really works.
