I've got a customer that has satellite internet and whilst it's reasonable for general surfing, but due to the time sending/receiving signals up and back, trying to use youtube/skype etc., is nearly impossible.

Depending on where you are in Norfolk, look at wireless internet. There are quite a lot of companies now offering it. From memory, they use church towers etc., for the aerials.
