Evening all, not a happy bunny this end. Turns out the fault with the car is not ECU, but a broken wire between ECU, and auto box ECU, or IPK,and a connector behind the passenger side airbag.
Brian has been here for a few hours, doing one test after another, and he knows which wires are at fault, but not where. Going to have to make up an exact replica of the wires concerned, to test both circuits, and find out which is at fault. Im sick off vehicles, both car and vans necessary evil, bit think the car will be going sooner rather than later now, as well as the van. Time for something newer that doesn't need to be worked on all the time.
