Why are you considering this? Your diesel fan control box contains a PCB which is susceptible to failure. Whatever your problem is, it may have nothing to do with the motor.

I was told the brushes fail in the motor and the fan is then kaput. I dont know a lot about auto electrics. What is a PCB and how can i test the control box to check it. Are control boxes available to replace?
