Whats the normal 'motorway speed' temperature for a KV6?

I think i have a sticking thermostat on my 190 because its running too cold I think. On a long trip back home last night on the motorway, I noticed the temp gauge dip a little below the half way mark when on longer downhill stretches of the motorway. Pulled over in services and set the IPK diagnostics to temp reading and monitored that all the way home. Steady 70mph was showing between 77- 80 so i think its too low. I would assume it should be higher?
