Can any one tell me if this is normal ? I would also like to fit x4 new tyres as the front ones are new but of a very cheap brand and the back ones are close to their legal limit. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best brand to fit as I am thinking this may improve the ride quality. I ve had the car fully checked over underneath and all is ok with no problems. Any advice greatly received. Thank you .
What profile are your tyres, I have the same problem and have Meteors on a MK1 fitted with 225/45/17's I believe that on MK2's with these wheels Rover fitted 215/50/17 to give a slightly better ride. I am looking to try and improve ride by going this route, haven't decided which brand to go for yet, noise level is another item high on my list albeit thus far I have found the latter tyres seem to be a £20 -30 premium per tyre.
