They should check lots of things on an air con service but rarely do.
Just had 1 customer email me a service report where the air con specialist who only does air con like me.... Told them compressor had power but wasn't doing anything and that they needed an auto electrician who just said same thing power but not doing anything... Which is fault clutch coil.
Seem to be seeing a few like this now, other week had one where air con was regassed, and wouldn't work... Told customer vehicle needs a diagnostic done on a computer... I went out and belt was missing, had broken off... So no belt, no aircon compressor drive.
Worst one was when customer was told they had a leak and compressor was physically missing from vehicle.
