So further to my post......update today

This morning we drove to where my car had broken down yesterday afternoon and it started ????????????

When we turned the car over it did initially fire up first go but then the car faltered and spluttered (like the carbie was flooded) and it took some vigorous work on the pedal to finally get it to keep revving. As a result there was huge amounts of blue smoke coming out of the exhaust and it did take several minutes before the exhaust stopped blowing blue smoke.

The car did return to normal idling after a while and we drove it home (around 10 miles) without further trouble.

This car is now totally unreliable and we have spent good money attempting to fix it...........replacing the cam sensor and the crank sensor so far has been a big waste of time and my MONEY :-)

Feeling really frustrated with this car :-(
