I'm very bored sitting at work, so this is a useful distraction.
My other thought, is that the Glow Plug relay is faulty and the ecu is refusing to start. You could try pulling the white fourway plug off, although it may still not start as the ECU may expect to see an input from it.
I'm looking through the manual to see if there's anything else you can try.
