Would you accept a bank transfer for a sale?
When I viewed my car, I gave the seller the option of me popping round to the nearest bank and withdrawing cash or doing a bank transfer there and then. I didn't press for either.
They opted for the transfer and saw the cash hit their account a few moments later. Could they have been at risk if I was a dodgy character? I was under the impression that a transfer like that was not reversible.
