I can see the point you make. And if I would have your opinion I would very much agree.
(I even agree to a certain point even though I have a different opinion).
For me the reason to install DRL's in the headlights was simply because I like the look, and I feel they make the car a little bit "newer". Just a matter of taste really.
Some people have wheels on their 75 or ZT that I find very ugly, but as long as they are happy with it, who am I to disagree? It's not like it's putting anybody at risk?
