On the diesel, where the top coolant hose meets the engine is a plastic fitting which bolts to the engine, this also has a rubber gasket... Rimmers want £20 delivered just for the gasket. And £50 for the plastic piece and gasket.

I just purchased the full plastic piece and gasket for £16 delivered fromiisland 4x4, it's a freelander part but identical to the MGRover part. Part number LVJ100870Lhttp://www.island-4x4.co.uk/water-ho...0l-p-8085.html
