Id wait a week before getting the Nexus 7. The first batch had horrendous build quality issues, the return rate was over 70% in some stores. I had 3 and returned them all. The newest batches are much improved however.

Once the charging docks are out you can just mount that in the car in some form and dock the tablet i am aware of a guy ion the US who made a custom one from a dock and it looks almost OEM.. I already use my Galaxy Tab 8.9 in my car for many things including Bluetooth audio to the Double Din.
