Being based in Norwich for just a couple of years and noticing how all the T4 equipped forum specialists are hundreds of miles away, i am less than sure who i should have looking after my ZT 190+.
Certain important jobs like belts/waterpump/thermestat already recently done so no worries there.
In no particular order the following advisories or faults will need doing in due course. Being hopeless at most practical car mechanics does not help matters
Sparkplug replacement (precautionary, my thoughts!)
Screenwashers dead
handbrake!
offside front trackrod end ball joint slight play
rear discs slightly rusty.
To put things in perspective car drives fine and i am loving it
Left to my own devices will tackle most of these on a regular ongoing basis before next mot, a year away!
My local garage spotted osf ball joint as soon as he drove it (advisory on prev mot) so all singing from the same hymm sheet.
Do i stick with my local man, who does a tremendous variaty of local cars
as well as a lot of until recently servicing on the staff cars of the Caterham F1 team, now moved but Caterham remains! (based in my villige!)Minimal Rover experience though?
I guess some jobs any garage can do, some best left to a specialist?
TBH someone like Sean at Bexhill would be my 1st choice, with a T4 session also, A guy at Coventry from this forum who advertises servicing etc also.
Just don't fancy a 3/4 hour journey each way, although bexhill on sea on a sunny day becoming attractive with improving weather...
