Note it is 2-EHA present in some OAT coolants that does this. Use OAT without 2-EHA (such as Comma G30) and you'll be fine. :}

A year is nothing. I'd check levels and tyre pressures etc and put it in for an MOT. Only then would it be worthwhile giving it a full service etc IMHO.
