In good condition and with the 160 remap a CDTI will keep pace with a 2.5V6 up to approx 100 mph, after that the v6 will have the edge...

As for noise, mine (diesel auto) is pretty quiet.... :}...

I doubt it's the "O" rings, why would an air leak to the outside prior to the air intake do that? More likely to be the MAF or PCV filter...

Fortes Injector cleaner may solve the problem...
