Another happy year

So changed a blown bulb and replaced a couple of worn tyres on my Connie, then sat like an expectant father waiting for her to go through the MOT

Still need to get the 2 injectors fitted, but it sure saves having to raise the bonnet whip off the engine cover and give a sniff of easy start every time i stop some were lol :D

I have now gotten two injectors but havent had the time to get them fitted
Anyway as i was only getting a few attempts at starting the car before the batterry died, i decided to replace the battery...

Thanks for the advice guy's. I ended up getting 2 from Seancar for a very nice price. He tested the car they came off on a T4 and no errors were reported. Hopefully they should do the trick....

They really are great for the long distance trip. Ive taken mine up to the Highlands 5 times now, each time towing a teardrop trailer and never had a problem. The last trip covering 1600 miles.

Put Connie in for her MOT and got a fail on bushes and brake pipes :(
£200 later and she's got a ticket for another year :drool4:

I'm going to take it to Burscough Diesels as soon as i finish my night shifts.

The car is now actually starting warm although it can sometimes take a good 6 to 8 seconds cranking before firing up.

As Andy stated it is 65dbls which is quite low plus the genny will be chain locked to my front car wheel with the cable running underneath to the trailer, so the car body will also deflect the noise...
