I've done it, not to difficult, but it is fiddly, and you need to make a note of how the whole assembly fits into the tank, otherwise refitting is a pain. I just changed the pump, not the assembly....

I sold my 75 2.5 and replaced it with a manual ZT diesel..... I do 250-300 miles per week to and from work, the diesel turns in far better MPG and saves me a small fortune in fuel when comparing...

I have a snooper tucked into the top of my windscreen, on the plus side it has beeped me when approaching hand held guns at least 4 times, of course I wasn't breaking the speed limit at the time...
