A disaster waiting to happen?

GreyGhost 30th July 2007 20:43

I can just see the MG7 left out of the equation and the wrongone taking it's place with MG badges.

Please no GG, we need the MG7 for parts and hopefully one day Replacement car?

I think the tie up will happen due to intervention from the Chinese government.

Pretty scary if you ask me! Not only is the Roewe outfit producing a questionable quality of vehicle, but just imagine the confusion and drama that would be involved in the merger. Remind you of anything.........?

History never repeats.............?

It's looking more like SAIC is taking over NAC MG at the moment.

We'll have to wait and see whether that's good news or bad news for the MG brand and Longbridge..it's certainly not looking good for the MG7 in the shot term as it competes head on with the Roewe 750.

Fingers crossed the new dealers will have the TF to sell in the next couple of weeks..followed by ZT/Austin Shooting Breaks from Longbridge

I'm surprised that the moderators haven't changed the title to SAIC, rather than SEAC!
