Same problem with mine a few months ago.
Back to normal thanks to a little bit of tampering at the right of the cartridge with a flat screwdriver.
But just in case and thanks to @Trikey I've now got another one in good order to swap with. :shrug:

Try pushing the cartridge in a little further, then press eject button, also you could try removing the cables and plugging them back in worked for me one time.

The grease can dry out over time in the autochangers. They come apart quite easily, just be careful not to damage the ribbon cable between the chassis and cover. I added a dab of silicone grease to all the moving mechanisms recently after the 'no CD' fault flagged up.

Second time I've had to do this on the same unit in twenty years.:}

Shame mine isn't still apart - I could have checked how to release the cartridge. To operate the selector mechanism you can rotate the motor by hand. Not sure about the eject mechanism, but I'm sure it is possible to release it manually.

Can you post a couple of photos up?

'Just doing mine as I speak. Remove from the car and take the cover off, (carefully). Plug it back in the car and move the large black gear slightly to help eject the disc that's stuck then the cartridge should come out. If I can work out how to post pics, can add some.

Mike, is it the metal lever top right that you grease?
