Anyone after an aubergine interior?

This looks like a good opportunity for anyone after an aubergine interior!

Well sadly TGB has to go. She is a White Gold Conoisseur (Cowley.. late 99 build) 2.5 V6 Auto with Aubergine Personal Line double piper interior. Even has the Aubergien over mats.

The Classic SE is booked in for her MOT in the morning so TGB has to go.. as does the 623 GSI.

Looking at the state of the footwells, would you really want to sit on that car's seats?

I'd have nightmares personally....

Cloth aubergine is very rare!

But why is a diesel being broken for parts? I thought they were bullet proof? :D

Not everyone is as well versed in the forbiles and like the previous owner on the CDT we bought a week ago believe what ignorant so called professionals tell them. He was told that the car would not start due to a major immobilser problem that would cost many hundreds to fix. he had already replaced both fuel pumps on faulty advice. First thing I looked at was the plenum and yep it was wet and still had standing water in it.

I took a punt hoping that we were right and it was drowned ECU issue. It was ent off to Marinabrian wo repaired it and it's runnign again. Depending on how we get on in the morning at the MOT will tell how much the car has cost us.

This one with the Aubergine trim might have just been too expensive for the owner to fix or maybe they just got fed up with it. Many people do not fall for their cars as we do!

Engines probably fine, it's all the other bits that broke! :D

I love the aubergine leather, but the cloth just looks really dated to me, looks like it should be in a 1980's monstrosity. But each to their own I suppose.

Last time I saw an interior in Aubergine velour, was about two or three years ago in a Cornish breakers, funnily enough in a black car though !

Must be very rare nowadays to have it in cloth.
