Magnette-ic Attraction
I went with my mate the other night to view an MG Magnette which he bought for a very sensible sum. As you can see it's a scruffy old thing but it's solid where it matters & is in pretty good shape mechanically

That doesn't look bad at all. Good luck with it.

Nice. Quite rare now, the Magnette. l went after Stephen Fry's old one (he was on the logbook) which had a VW reg' plate on which, unfortunately, someone had told the owners was worth a fortune. Yeah right!
So l said sell the plate & l'll buy the car but it disappeared a while later. l had a Riley 4/72 at the time in your colour scheme. That eventually got nicked. Can't imagine what for. Can you, Mr banger racer? |
Had one of those, grey on grey, looked a lot better after respray in Old English White,
did many miles, comfortable and fast (ish) for the time with twin carbs, only let me down once when a core plug popped, left at roadside and fixed next day. |
Just needs a Rover V8 in it, using MGB V8 parts!.....
