TV

'Casualty 1907' - BBC1.

Brilliant. Another gem from the Beeb.

Definatly a watchable drama, and usually not something I would watch. Well done the beeb.

More interesting from the normal version, should be made a regular series, factual too with the storylines taken from the records of the hospital. Saw the pilot single episode last year and hoped then that they'd do more. Can't wait for next Sunday for the last part. Let's hope there's more soon.

This is the BBC at its best. Top notch stuff.

A three-part mini-series is about right I think. If they made it into a regular thing (as per the modern day TV version) it would ruin it.

The other absolute gem was Channel 4's 'The Relief of Belsen' (shown October 2007) - a masterpiece, one of the greatest drama documentaries ever made.

By regular thing I meant a three part-er twice a year say, I agree that if it was shown all the time it would ruin it like the regular Casualty.

Mmm. Maybe - although I think the ones that stick in your mind are the one-off single progs or one-off mini-series.

The superb Relief of Belsen had me nailed to my seat. All characters were based on actual people and all events were real.

yep, have to agree, the beeb got it right with this one,

Casualty 1907 - I thought they were just repeating episodes from when they first started broadcasting it!
