RSC000131 Tyre protector kit...

I have a 54 plate ZT Cdti Diesel I'm just about to replace the front shocks on, should I be thinking about this kit, or will everything be fine?

Im not replacing the springs, just the shocks.

The Rover PDF says just the 75 saloon is affected?

Also, this kit seems to screw into the drainage holes in the spring cups.... so erm,. what happens to the water then?!

So cheap and easy to fit, I think the answer's clear. Springs are breaking all the time, on all models, all years, all marques.

At the risk of being accused of negativity (:getmecoat: :D), there is no guarantee that fitting these will prevent tyre damage in the event of spring breakage, as some members have discovered. However, some protection must be better than none. Just saying.

The MG models are less prone (I've broken 3 springs on my 75s, however none of my MG models) as the spring diameter is thicker, however I would anyway. :)
