Apex wheel finishes
 
I have bought, and inherited 9 apex wheels. 4 are black chrome, and 4 are anthracite, not sure about the 9th a snot yet received. However, I need to know what was the possible combos of finishes on the apex, as I want to get them all refurbed, as original. Can you guys help. Thanks kenton

Avoid the 'snot' you mention! ;)

I know you spoke of 'original', but Shadow Chrome looks fabulous to my eye!

Yes,i've seen snot green apex's,not a pretty sight :getmecoat::}

thanks, so there was only one original finish, the black base with the front spokes the shadow chrome?

Platinum silver was the oem,sorry.Alloy Wheel - Platinum Silver - 7.5 x 18 - Less Tyre - Apex Alloy Wheel - Platinum Silver - 7.5 x 18 - Less Tyre - Apex
Rimmer's also list them as MNH,which is silver sparkle

I always thought that they were available in Silver Sparkle (MNH, for Mk 1 cars), Liquid Silver (MBS) and Shadow Chrome (for Mk 2 cars), which MGR called "Platinum Silver" :shrug:
