Sat Nav Question

Good Afternoon All,

In all the previous versions of igo that I have had there has always been an indication on screen of the speed the vehicle is travelling.
This doesn't appear to be available in this version or is there a setting that I have missed?
One further question, is ther a downloadable user manual for the current version of igo?
Many thanks
Tom.

Hi Tom.

Having the speed displayed is a setting that can be turned on or off. I would need to do some digging to find it though!

I will try and do that later today.

Thanks for that Jeff,
However I can't find the jigsaw icon to start the process. Can you help please?
Regards
Tom.

It sounds like you may have the option "Skip Navigation Menu" set to "off.

When you first press the menu button, can you see an icon of what looks like a glass beaker in a chemistry lab. If so press that and you will get to a screen headed UI Labs.

On that screen you can enable or disable the option for "Skip Navigation Menu".

With it OFF (as mine is) then fewer options show on the main menu bar, but the way of choosing a route is nicer (in my view) If this is the case the "jigsaw" option is to the bottom right of the small map.

If its ON then the jigsaw button appears as the second icon when I select the main menu button.

If you cannot see it can you post a screen shot of what you are seeing?

I cannot find a menu button anywhere on the screen as in Jeff's video.
The only way I can find a menu is by pressing the '0' on the bottom left of the screen but then my choices appear to be different.
I think I must have a later version of igo than you.
Regards
Tom.

It's the same Tom,

They are customisable so they can appear different but all can be set up with as many or as little buttons on screen as you like.
That is the point, you can change pretty much every aspect of Primo to tailor it to individual needs.

I would suggest having a play in the menus and you should find it there.

There are lots of Youtube videos out there showing different aspects of Primo and if you Google it you should find downloadable PDF's as well:}

Just to add to what Jeff said.

The bottom left button on the map screen is the menu button. What is written on that button depends on what options are turned on.

The zero means its set to display the current speed. If you can press that and show us what you then see it may help..

The pictures attached are of the nav screen after bootup and after the menu button is pressed.

Press and hold the menu button then user profiles (picture of man with spanner) change to a different profile and restart program.
See if you then have the jigsaw puzzle or a icon for a spanner and screwdriver.
Either of those will get you into the settings:}
