My Custom Intercooler Installation - Diesel ZT
 

Just finished installing my front mounted intercooler yesterday. My original factory intercooler had developed quite a bad leak and needed replacing, so rather than going for another second hand replacement, I decided to go for a front mounted one just as I quite like the look of them. Wasn't aiming for any performance gains but if it helps improve performance then that's a bonus :)

Was quite a bit of work and pretty fiddly but managed to get it all to fit. Seems to have made a noticeable difference, engine just feels like it's breathing better and more responsive, but some of that may be due to the boost pressure I was loosing with my old intercooler leaking. Taking it out on some proper test runs soon :)

Cheers :) not blocking airflow to anything apart from the metal rail/pipe that loops round in front of the cooling fan. Not blocking the AC condenser or radiator :) Is it now sitting in front of the cooling fan rather than behind it but it's only covering the bottom part of the fan :)

Excellent job Rick, (Jealous). What did you use on those headlights,the clearest i've seen.:D

Cheers :) I refurbish all the headlights I do using wet and dry sand paper and use 3m polish to bring them up :) the 3M kit is pretty much the same stuff I use (except i buy mine in bulk) and works really well. you'll get the same finish with the 3m kit :)
