Satnav software

As we all know Sean is no longer providing us with IGO for out Navall's so where can I get it on a card as mine got corrupted last year and no longer works. I need the Europe version.

Yes I know other software is available and I do have other versions I can use but I do like IGO. The volume for the voice is very useful as lot of the other systems don't have this function.

I purchased a downloadable version from Ebay that my son has got working in a fashion but a lot of the bits I am used to seem to be missing so I need a version on a card that is up to date. I know it is probably going to cost but the time I spend in the car it will be money well spent in my view.

Thanks in advance.

So, just for clarity in my mind.
You have the IGo program, but now need to find the maps, skins etc for the whole of Europe?

Was the original (corrupted) version you had just the plain base version from Sean or had you added bits to it?

I did have the program from Sean but the version I had got corrupted so I was told wipe it and reload it. The theory being that it might reload, sadly it did not so I had nothing.

The one I bought is just not the same, it works but not as good as the version we used to get from Sean, my son even struggled to get it to load to the unit but after several attempts he got it to work.

Where did Sean buy the proper version from?

Would this be it?

We need to know what you've got now (& what you want) before we (or me at least) can suggest what you need.

If it's an IGO product, it's either IGO 8, PRIMO or Nextgen. It's important to be specific as maps, skins and settings are not the same between.

I'm interested as to why you couldn't get the supplied Primo to reinstall - that suggests something wrong in the unit rather than Igo.

Though I do have a working version of Igo it is not very good so probably best to delete that and start again.

I have a Navall 3 that seems to be working perfectly well, I suspect the non branded memory card that the old version of Igo was on had a fault as it kept telling me something was missing and the would freeze.

I need Europe and a version that I can control the level of sound of the voice and warnings.

I do have Copilot that works but the volume for the voice and warning are pre-set so if I have loud music I have a loud satnav. Also I find it quite jumpy where as Igo always seemed smooth.

I want it on a memory card so I don't have to download it.

I have the same problem, my igo kept asking for the SD card. I took the card out to check it on my computer and it's completely corrupted unreadable, wont even format.

The main use of my 'STAR' is sat nav so I'd like to get it working again. iGo semd the only app that didn't need a data connection to do live traffic.
