MOT day - good and bad

The good news: she passed with no advisories. The bad bit: she's now absolutely filthy !

Why does it always have to rain when I have my baby booked into a garage? Every road covered in mud filled puddles (more like lakes) with constant spray from passing vans and lorries Grrrr:devil:. I hate MOT time.

Congratulations on the pass. Plenty of time to get ready for the National.

Good result Cliff ..... I'm sure you were feeling confident! :D

And I'm sure you'll enjoy all the cleaning too .... have fun!

See you for a breakfast sometime soon

Kind regards

John

Congrats Keith, although result was never in doubt! See you next meet. I know how you feel, cant bear driving my poor Rover through all this, so I take the poor MG instead and today drove through a flooded road with all oncoming traffic driving fast through the water and absolutely swamping me and the car each time. Inconsiderate is not the word.

cheers,

cheers,

The worse bit is when you come across a flooded road that's busy so you have no option other than ploughing through the deepest part rather than straddling the middle of the road, at the same time being sprayed by the traffic from the other direction .

Nice one Cliff, that'll now give you the time to clean her.

Teflon 6th March 2020 12:13

All clean again now, in readiness for some fun and games tomorrow (weather permitting). But that'll be a whole different thread ;)
