Sealing waist trims - how?
Well it appears I have a boot water ingress issue from one of the waist trim clips/fixings.
What is the best way to go about resolving this please? I figured there must be a better way than simply spodging silicone around the fixings... Ta in advance :} |
Nope, silicone is the answer.
Originally the trim clips came with tiny foam seals, but they no longer come with the seals. So silicone is the answer. |
Cheers Rich
Just splodge some around or is it worth removing the trims first? If so how do they come off? Just seems a bit if a bodge, don't really want moisture trapped around the fixings. Thanks again! |
It is best to remove the trim in my eyes. But the clips are £15 for 10.

use "adhesive" silicon sealer:}
