LG Magic remote - absolute magic!

It arrived yesterday, as a bit of a gadget nut - I had to order one for my LG 49UJ630V.

After a bit of a faff - it would only work partially with my TV, I managed to unregister then register, to get it fully working, it seems to be part IR, part bluetooth to communicate with the set - and LG's instructions are very confused and confusing.

Two weeks since the TV arrived and I am still struggling to get my head around all that the TV does, but now, with the Magic Remote I can actually talk to the TV to instruct it.

It works absolutely brilliantly, never misses a word I say. Just press the mic button and speak. I always thought you had to teach these systems your speech / accent, but this worked 'fine out of the box'. Jean, with her thick Geordie accent couldn't get it to work at all

Morning Harry,
Nothing wrong with a "Geordie" accent! and perhaps "broad" would be a better word to use rather than "thick". We're broad up here not thick!
Regards David

Sorry, broad it is :D

I wasn't suggesting the Geordies were thick, I would not dare ;)
