Not the best picture but what do you think, So I removed the rear badge as the lacquer was peeling took the centre badge out leaving the chrome surround, made a copy of the MG logo cut it out on a sheet of sticky back plastic (not the type blue peter used) the type they make car graphics from stuck it in the surround smoothed it out then a couple of coats of lacquer to seal and there you go. |
Original pic is a bit too big so I added the smaller Gallery version, badge ooks ok to me though

It looks very smart. Fancy one of those myself as the laqueur on mine is also starting to lift. Job for another weekend methinks tho... :)

Noticed the genuine old MG badge on ebay yesterday as fancied something different.
You can get all kind of weird and wonderful ones to fit the front (pink, green, union jack bakground) but none small enough for the rear. |
