Anyone "Rooted" their Navall unit?

Just interested to see if anyone has "Rooted" their Navall unit and if so, how.

I am particularly interested in the Navall 3, but any help is much appreciated.

Cheers. :D

This has been asked before and the definite answer was a very firm NOOOOOO!
If you are prepared to end up with a "brick" and it does not matter that £300 down the drain, I would be interested if you did manage it
Ken.

If you can run Sky go on it then it wont be rooted, if you cant and a message pops saying "Sky go cant run on rooted devices" then it probably already is...

Who said no? Sean? It has most definitely been done, as I am sure Sean himself has sold a unit on here with a "custom" user interface etc.

Just had a look and yes, although it was a Navall Star. LINKY

Also most rooting software to date, tests compatibility, before applying the necessary software, thus reducing the risk. Someone must have done it.

Thanks Jubs, I will check it out. Do you need a valid Sky id? As I am not a customer. I am a Virgin!

Why can't it just be rooted like any other android device?

Custom interface, you can run other launcher, you can install non-google certified apps, etc.
