CDTi intercooler hose

I will need a new inter cooler hose to the egr valve shortly its 2 piece as its a MK2 can anyone tell me if they have used a silicone hose and do I need to buy elbows etc or will it bend etc. :shrug:
Dont really want to buy a new one for £70 plus delivery or a used one off ebay that might be as kippered as mine.:eek:

Bought mine through the forum for £61 delivered, just buy the Mk1 version and cut it for the sensor. As was posted at the time, paying more for less pipe doesn't make a lot of sense :shrug:

No other parts needed but i did use SS Jubilees for looks.

Definitely go for the one wullie480 has linked to.
Same price for a 2 piece version and well worth it.

Silicone intercooler pipe

Go for WULLIE s one. Silicone is rotted by oil mist unless lined with the correct material and his one is.

I can only agree with the other posters the one from SFS engineering is superb aand the two part model is exactly the same price I did egr bypass at same time and the improvement is great!. £61 might seem a lot but trust me its well worth it. You might want to do the pcv valve filter at the same time mine looked like it had never been done since car rolled off the line at least I now know dipstickbwont try to escape through the bonnet any time soon:D

I fitted the LR PCV kit that does away with the filter, £20 well spent in my book..:}

I also fitted the 2 part SFS silicone hose, with new O-rings and an EGR bypass - car is smoother and more responsive as a result. I can only recommend it
