Does the trafficmaster system work on the continent? Fitting Xenon units is relatively straightforward, the only vaguely tricky bit being the removal of the front bumper. The xenon headlights simply replace the existing halogen units - no change in wiring is required. There are no 'legal' problems over here in the UK, don't know about France though. The difficult bit is finding a pair of xenon units - I just sold my spare set, but you might find a pair of LHD ones on ebay. I did a post on my front parking sensor fit here: http://forums.mg-rover.org/showthread.php?t=148239 I must admit I did not do it the easy way, which would have been to use an aftermarket kit. If you go the OEM route, the difficult bit is finding the loom from a rear bumper system. |
Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot for your information. I will make some research now.
Concerning Traficmaster, it seems that it exists here under the name of V-Trafic from Mediamobile which have some deal with Traficmaster. To what extent are they compatible? I'm not sure, as I have not tried it yet. :o See this link: http://www.trafficmaster.co.uk/page.cfm?key=europe Regards, Majed |
