E-mail suddenly stopped on phone?

Hi, this last week my phone has suddenly stopped dragging my Virgin e-mails through. They appear on my laptop but not phone any more. I haven't touched anything. It's a Samsung. Anyone got any ideas?

Go into apps page in settings and ensure synchronise is enabled for email, also set to recieve messages as they arrive...

Hi sync was enabled but when I switched it off and on again they came through! Technology never ceases to amaze me with its weirdness!
