Tyre protectors bolts too short
Hi the small bolts appear too short, I tried both protectors on both sides with the threads in the hole cleaned, so on less I’m doing something wrong then I need longer bolts, any help also tried a hit with hammer just in case they were a tight fit

they only go through two bits of thin metal, they wont be very long.
Can you post a picture of how you are trying to fit them macafee2 |

There should be enough "flex" in the protector for it to work.;)

Did you have a glance or read of the link below it may help cheers Arctic https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...d.php?t=250430 |
If the car hasn't had protectors fitted before, then the holes in the spring cup aren't threaded. The bolts supplied are self-tapping and have to be pushed into the hole so the tapered end allows it to enter and bite once you get it turning.

Hammer = Irish screwdriver or spanner,

lol, you need rubber mallets for 'forceful' fitting of components - So easy to damage things with the hard head of a hammer. |
