Does the ZT have any race history, either team or privateer, does anyone know ?

The last competition car built by MG Sports and Racing was a racing version of the V8 MG ZT260. This car was highly modified and lightened it had more power than the standard V8 and a lightweight racing bodykit. The car is now owned by an Australian MG Enthusiast who races it competitively. It is painted dark grey in colour........(taken from wikipedia) :D

Brian Luti's Dreadnought MG ZT 520, campaigned by his son Paul, was a regular on the track too.

Thanks - that's a great picture ! Possibly even more reason to dive into the BMIH archives.

More of an aesthetics question here (and ignoring the other differences that this track car will have) but am I right in thinking that this car is not fitted with the extreme kit - instead it looks like bolt on arches and some sort of custom skirting?

I think the Chinese entered a car in aChina race, don't no if it was factory or private. If I remember the article it won the race.

What's the use of putting up a build thread when I am told that I do not have permission to read it, this seems to happen a lot on this site

As far as I know the Extreme kit fitted by Lifestyle was moulded off this car. It was a genuine MGR racing development car.
