Heko's All Round.

Personally, I really like the wind deflectors, they vent the car nicely and keep rain out. I don't like the wind noise, could anyone say where it comes from? If it's from the bottom edge, I can live with it. If it's from where they clip to the car then maybe the gap could be filled to improve the airflow. Idea's anyone? They're never ever being removed. :xmas-smiley-005:

I like them aswell but have to agree with you in regards to the noise that seems to be caused by them, this seems to be specific which car they are fitted to, had them on past cars and no issues.

Fitted them to my 45 saloon and they cut down on the wind noise - but that's not hard as they are very noisy in comparision to the 75 !

Yes, if the noise is caused by air flowing over the top I could smooth out the gap. As said, they'll never be removed. Guess I'll just have to do it and find out.

You will always get wind noise I suppose, but I've not noticed it much:shrug: These are stuck to the outside of the door rather than inside the channel, so I suppose a bit better aerodynamics, & they have a Rover badge on the rears;)

Likewise for me too,had these fitted in 2004 when Rover were still going, have fitted Heko's to 'Vixen' primarily because the oem ones are very scarce to get hold of nowadays.

Regards......John.

What a very Blue car John:cool: always nice to see it, & it was your deflectors that made me go oem:bowdown: on my "Not as blue as Bluejon's" car:D

the heko deflectors push the seal from the glass when fitted (as they fit between the seal and glass) - the rear edge on each window is where i reckon most noise comes from - and possibly air flow in the space between glass and deflector forces air into this corner :Snow:
