Hi to all my fellow members. If you really treasure your pride and joy , make sure you have a top quality chamois. I recently spent £9 on a large chamois, only to find that it was not properly tanned. So I approached the Original Chamois Co in New Zealand, have just received my order , superb quality, so soft, uniform thickness and the cost £9.40 including air mail. and larger than the prevoius purchase:}

A chamois doesn't do it for me, I believe they scratch. I use a waffle weave for drying, can dry the whole car in one go. :shrug:

:smilie_re: Wot he says - chamois is really old hat and can cause swirls and scratches on modern car paint finishes. Keep the chamois for the house windows and get a microfibre waffle weave towel for the beloved ;)

Never heard of them though l have noticed paint marking/swirls over the years so may move with the times despite replacing my leather recently

I prefer a drying towel but a good quality chamois gets good results IMHO. Do you have a link?
