Agree - that roads a death trap at the best of times, NO excuse for that sort of speed

I've been to many races and track days and can judge speed quite well.

I was doing 70 and to say it was like I was standing still was is no joke.. He was really flying.

Mind you. Considering the number of accidents on the A23 daily there will be one less ZT on the road if he keeps driving like that.

Unlikely anybody is going to own up to that ;)

Come to think of it, I didn't even know they could do that sort of speed

On track/runway - yes, and I don't mean the 260 but one has to allow for speedo error

I was talking about the 2,5 V6, the V8 is limited to 155MPH

alas there are many who will drive as if they are on a race track , or will bully there way in traffic or just don't give a semg about any one else on the road . in 20 ish years of being a delivery driver i have seen much . driving fast is not always dangerous just as driving below the limit is not always safe ... what matters is condition of the road , traffic flow , limits and your ability as a driver to handle the situation .

to many drive beyond their skill level and what ever limits are around , i am some who has driven a lot more than most over the years and have managed to have not many accidents and what i have had have mostly not been my fault.

fair to say there are to many speed cameras which are limited in what they can do and not enough police to enforce safe driving . i am not against cameras but to many are not really for safety but to make money. they should be placed in areas of danger . a camera can only do speed/red light stuff not bad driving etc etc.
