Rover 75 v8 brakes
Rover v8 automatic. What sort of travel should there be on the brake pedal? I've the customary slack handbrake; however the footbrake seems to travel a bit before biting. The brakes do work and will stop the car, just seems to take a while. My comparison is with my diesel tourer and a previous v6 saloon. Both of which feel (felt) a little sharper.

I find its the other way round, brakes are much better in the 260. If I drive the 260 for a while then go back to the 1.8T and brake at the same point the result can make me clench up a bit!

Has it had new brake pipes or anything that might have introduced air into the system the only way I could get a decent pedal after renewing a brake pipe was at the local dealers with a T4.
