Erisin wiring
I have bought a Erisin double din stereo which I plan to fit at the weekend if time permits.
On unpacking the unit I noticed that there is no wiring diagram and I can’t find one specific to the model I bought on the internet. The question I have is why does the loom supplied have a wire labelled ‘brake line - handbrake’, only thought I had was a safety feature to prevent the television being watched whilst driving. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance, Paul. |
On my erisin dd I have the same from memory it's pink, you have two choices wire it to the handbrake switch so no TV or DVD while driving or earth it and both will work when driving :}

Thank you. |
Hope you'll find time to post updates to your installation - I've spent the last couple of weeks installing my Erisin, and it's been a bit of a nightmare, I'm afraid (it's mostly documented here), so I could do with some moral support :duh:
Which model did you fit? Do you use the radio at all...? Cheers Roger :D |

Hello Roger, I haven’t fitted the unit yet - I hope to fit it this weekend if it doesn’t rain too much! The unit I bought is a ES3146b which is a 7” android 10 variant. I have read your posts, so fingers crossed. Paul. |
OK mate, feel free to PM me any time if you think I might be able to help ;)
