I was chatting to this really pretty girl in Ashington swimming baths the other week & she said to me
"Are you flirting?"
To which I said
"No I've got one foot on the bottom"

Might not mean much to the southerners!

I went to the same baths, only to be told they are closed, for training porpoises.
