how many left ROVER 75

Just checked this morning and we are down to 20657 Rover 75s left on the road and these are 3 months ago figures.

a Drop of 6000 Rover 75s to the crusher last 12 months, as only 85 cars were extra sorned.. the rest have gone gone.... interestingly only 2500 2005 Rover 75 are left now from the last major year of production one of the least years left. And just 17 2008 08 regs left in existence now JUST 17!!
1998 JUST 10 CARS LEFT ONLY two road worthy.

I wonder if one of those is S525 OVP?
SINCE 2017 ANOTHER 15 Rover 75 cars have gone from the roads, which means if it carries on like this there will be 5000/6000 left in 2021 operating.

the future is with us now!!! thats without :mad: schemes and Birmingham smoke zones rendering R75 as no go area cars

6000 sounds a lot and its probably right some might have been involved in accidents and insurance company says it not worth repairing like my old 75, but i think the scrappage scheme plays a big part as well as some garages are giving four grand towards a new motor its up to the owner really if he wants to drive around in a brand new motor or like myself drive in me old 75 with a trilby and a bag of werther's rgds mark

I suspect the 6000 in 2021 will be very good motors, unfortunately we will have no where to drive them with the big city bans coming up.

hopefully those that are scrapped can be donor cars in spares to keep our loved motors keep going but whats the point if there's nowhere to drive em rgds mark

Last owned 75 in 2013, back in the fold, just bought 05 connoisseur, immaculate, forgot what a pleasure to drive. :}

The 96 is the kW output of the engine.
From the factory it was either 116PS (85kW) or 131PS (96kW).

I'd been wondering about ZT figures. I go to my caravan sum 100 miles away every other weekend, and while I still see a lot of 75's I have seen one lone ZT since the East Kirkby meet. Even so I hadnt realized figures were as low as this post suggests. Anyone know how many were made in comparison to the current figures?

I'm in Evora Portugal right now on my way to the Algarve having driven down from Worcs via North Spain ferries and I have not seen a 75 or ZT all the way. I quite like it though having something out of the norm. On that point a Spanish reg Sierra 4x4 passed me this morning now that is a rarity.
